1965 plymouth valiant

I am having problems finding new gears for my 65 valiant, can anyone help, it has a 9 bolt rearend and it is pos. track, I 'm not sure about the gear ratio I was told it has a 2.63 ratio but my book said it has a 3.23 does it make a big difference will it still fit if I got the 3.23 gears I am trying to keep the car stock it has a 225 cid . thanks Frank
