There are a few ways you can change the ratio:

1. Buy a differential cases designated to fit the 5.13 ratio ring and pinions, installation kits and the 5.13 ring and pinions.
2. Buy Installation kits, ring & pinions, and ring gear spacers to allow 5.13 gears to fit your 4.10 case.
3. Buy Installation kits and "thick" designated ring & pinions.

The ring gear seat that the ring gear bolts to on the case has a different offset between a 4.10 and 5.13 ratio. Any of these 3 ways will allow you to properly install the 5.13 ratios. Without either changing the case, using a ring gear spacer, or using a "thick" designated gear, you would not be able to properly set the backlash.
